Ride-hailer services are going on safari – in Kenya.

Uber has announced that visitors to the Nairobi National Park can now pre-book a seat on a day or night safari using the Uber app, reports Tech in Africa.

The vehicles will be fully licensed, safari-ready Land Cruisers operated by licensed tour companies. And a licensed guide is included in the package. The three-hour tours will operate seamlessly from Nairobi to the park.

The new service is a collaboration between Kenya’s tourism ministry, the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Tourism Regulatory Authority.

Situated 10 km outside Nairobi, the Nairobi National Park is home to a range of wildlife, including giraffe, leopard, zebra, buffalo, antelope, lion, black and white rhino, hippo, crocodile and hundreds of bird species, according to Kenya Wildlife Services.
